of Australia and Viet Nam
Photographs of Vietnam taken by Australians
and pictures of Australia snapped by Vietnamese
since diplomatic ties were established in 1973
can be entered in a competition just launched
by the Australian Consulate-General in Ho Chi
Minh City.
The contest is titled “Australia and Viet
Nam then and now” and lasts until November
30.
The
70 best photos in the judges’ eyes will
go on public display at the HCMC Youth Cultural
House, 4 Pham Ngoc Thach Street, District 1
from January 26 to February 1.
After
Ho Chi Minh City, the exhibition will travel
to the National Library, 31 Trang Thi Street,
Hoan Kiem District, Ha Noi for display from
February 26 to March 7, then to other parts
of the country for much of 2008.
